Digital Communication combines an exciting mix of web design, digital marketing and public relations. Students will learn how to design and develop strategies for digital communication campaigns using a range of digital media, including social media, websites, mobile technology, games, video and online news media. Students will learn about conveying information and ideas using social media platforms, search engines and well-designed and written websites and blogs to deliver creatively planned strategic outcomes for organisations.

Overview:
A social media campaign proposal for the Wetland’s Centre aimed at improving its online presence, engaging and educating important stakeholders and promoting the importance of the wetlands for the ecosystem.
The Wetland’s Centre established in 1993, conservation reserve, encompasses the Bibra Lake, 8 km cycle and walking path.
Recognised as an essential conservation wetland, it serves as a habitat where nature and wildlife thrive amidst urban development.
As a tourist destination, it offers a vast range of amenities and recreational activities.

Goals:
•Improve the centre’s visibility and engagement
•Engage local community to support wetland conservation efforts
•Bring further attention to the centre’s offerings (sales and tree hunt trails)
•Create awareness to hire out parts of the centre and the amphitheatre
