UX and Graphic Design Client Project -Street Friends

Street Friends was a group of volunteers in Perth, Western Australia, committed to providing people experiencing homelessness with the supplies they needed to survive on the streets. The purpose of this document is to identify, clarify and propose a potential Street Friends brand identity. Several printed and digital touchpoints were created, all featuring the new branding.

The final touchpoints

The final touchpoint designs are a canvas tote bag, a canvas privacy bag, and stickers. The use of canvas for both bags emphasises the down-to-earth nature of the organisation, as well as showing that it isn’t a big expensive company, but a grassroots organisation.

The privacy bag can hold a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant and soap, and the outside pocket fits feminine hygiene products.

As an extension of the branding project, a WordPress website concept was designed and created by students Jay Freeman and Kirsty Blakmore.
